Privacy Policy

Bible Match ("the App") helps you find the Bible figure whose path resembles yours and keeps you company with a daily verse. The App does not require sign-up or sign-in and does not collect directly identifiable information such as your name, email address, or phone number.

1. Information We Collect

Anonymous type distribution: When you finish the test, the App sends the key of your matched figure (for example "ruth") together with a random anonymous device identifier generated by the App. This identifier is not linked to an account, an email address, or an advertising identifier, and it is never shown to anyone. It is used only so that the "Kindred" screen can show what share of all users share your figure.
Advertising data: Google AdMob may process device information, approximate location, ad impressions, clicks, and related advertising data to serve non-personalized ads. The App does not use App Tracking Transparency (ATT) and does not track you across apps or websites.
On-device data: Your answers, your matched figures and scores, figures you have met in the gallery, compare codes you have entered, language, sound, haptics, and daily reminder settings, and update prompt history are stored only on your device.
Compare codes: The code shown on your result screen encodes only your matched figure and four axis scores. It contains no identifier and is exchanged between people outside the App at their own choice.
Daily reminder: If you turn on the daily verse reminder, the App schedules a local notification on your device. No notification data leaves the device.
In-app purchase: The optional Illuminated Edition upgrade is processed entirely by Apple's App Store. We do not receive or store your payment information.

2. How We Use Information

To calculate and display the anonymous figure distribution on the Kindred screen
To provide app functionality such as saved results, the figure gallery, the daily verse, compare readings, language settings, reminders, and update prompts
To serve non-personalized ads and operate the App
To unlock Illuminated Edition features after a purchase is confirmed by the App Store

3. Retention

Anonymous distribution data (device identifier and figure key) is retained while the service is operated and is overwritten each time you retake the test. On-device data and the anonymous identifier are removed from your device when you delete the App. Because the identifier is random and not linked to you, we cannot look up a specific person's row, but you may request deletion of a row by sending us the identifier shown in the App's Settings screen.

4. Third-Party Services

Google AdMob: Provides non-personalized advertising. Google processes data according to the Google Privacy Policy.
Supabase: Infrastructure that stores the anonymous figure distribution. Rows are accessible only through restricted server functions that never return the raw device identifier.
Apple App Store: Processes in-app purchases according to Apple's Privacy Policy.

5. Your Rights

The App does not collect directly identifiable account information. You can remove all on-device data by deleting the App, and you can request deletion of your anonymous distribution row as described in section 3. For privacy inquiries, contact the developer using the address below.

6. Children's Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7. Changes

Any changes to this policy will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
