Privacy Policy
App: Pixel Cross · Effective date: August 23, 2026
Pixel Cross ("the App") respects your privacy. The App does not require sign-up or sign-in and does not collect directly identifiable information such as your name or email address.
1. Information We Collect
- Anonymous leaderboard data: Your clear time for the daily puzzle, the puzzle date, and a random anonymous device identifier generated by the App. This identifier is not linked to an account, an email address, or an advertising identifier, and it is never shown to other players — the leaderboard displays only a shortened, non-reversible tag derived from it.
- Advertising data: Google AdMob may process device information, approximate location, ad impressions, clicks, and related advertising data to serve non-personalized ads. The App does not use App Tracking Transparency (ATT) and does not track you across apps or websites.
- On-device data: Puzzle progress (cleared levels, stars, best times), collected pictures, daily puzzle state, language and haptics settings, and update prompt history are stored on your device.
- In-app purchase: The optional Pro upgrade is processed entirely by Apple's App Store. We do not receive or store your payment information.
2. How We Use Information
- To calculate and display the anonymous daily leaderboard
- To provide app functionality such as saved progress, the picture gallery, language settings, and update prompts
- To serve non-personalized ads and operate the App
- To unlock Pro features after a purchase is confirmed by the App Store
3. Retention
Anonymous leaderboard data is retained while the service is operated. On-device data and the anonymous identifier are removed from your device when you delete the App.
4. Third-Party Services
- Google AdMob: Provides non-personalized advertising. Google processes data according to the Google Privacy Policy.
- Supabase: Infrastructure that stores the anonymous daily leaderboard and serves the puzzle catalogue. Leaderboard rows are readable only through a restricted server function that never returns the raw device identifier.
- Apple App Store: Processes in-app purchases according to Apple's Privacy Policy.
5. Your Rights
The App does not collect directly identifiable account information. You can remove all on-device data by deleting the App. For privacy inquiries, contact the developer using the address below.
6. Children's Privacy
The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
7. Changes
Any changes to this policy will be posted on this page.
